Back 2 Work

Well today was my first day back to work after the 4 day weekend we had for Thanksgiving. I was actually ready to go back after having such a stressful 4 days. I didn't escape kids once on my holiday. I only like days off if I can sleep in. I was woke up at 5 the first morning and 3:30 the next. Man was I ticked. And after yesterday....Man was I ready. Work gets me away from my crazy home life. A co worker did compliment me today. Interrupting my conversation with someone saying * Are you loosing weight?* best interruption ever. I am glad someone noticed. Even though I have not been trying and I have been eating home made pecan pie for the past week and a half. I have manage to keep loosing weight. Woo hoo. I lost 15 pounds magically in the past month and a half. So I think now I will put forth some effort since I can do so well NOT trying.

I did talk to my friend Sabela the other day for the first time since she went back home to Spain. Its odd, I say all my friends left me behind and got married and are pregnant. Which I am not ready for all that right now. Sabela says in Spain you can the count the women with your finger that are married under 30. Interesting! She says they are more interested in meeting a lot of people and career. It is good I guess to explore a bit but when you realize you found your soul mate you wont wanna keep looking. But I guess in America we do things in the fast lane. My friend however is 20 and has only just broke up with her first boyfriend and started dating her second boyfriend a few weeks ago. I don't think she has had the chance to feel the emotions you feel when your with that special person.

Well I think I will stop running my mouth. I have pictures to scan so I can return them to a co worker. I have been slacking. But its not so bad cuz I mentioned them to her and she said she had forgot. Well I better get outta here.

I have started to lose weight too.

I try to have breakfast (high-fibre and cereal). I do not snack until lunch and for dinner I only have Salad. If I am ever hungry, I will eat fruits and milk.

It should work. You can try that, too.

Every one says dont drink milk. I love it. But I try to stay away from it. It seems to make it worse when I get sick.

Drink milk if your body can handle it.

Milk(2%) has good fat. When you are hungry you need something that can protect your stomach against acids. So, almonds are good and milk is great, especially that you get calcium and vitamin A&B.

Don't forget how important minerals are.

Get your protein (grilled meat or fish), your minerals (or supplements) and your vegetables and you will be losing weight in a very healthy way.

As my mom reminds me: drink water as much as you can.
